THE AIM COLLECTIVE
M:ADE are one of four partners that make up the AIM (Arts in Moray) Collective. In collaboration with Dance North Scotland, the Moray Way Association and WildBird, we are delivering number of residencies across the region during 2021 and 2022, aimed at supporting artists and communities.

MARY BOURNE
Artist in Residence (South)
Mary's residency is place-based, with a focus on South of the region i.e. in and around Speyside. Inspired by the heritage of the area, Mary's exploration starts with the history of farming and will look to interrogate the dynamics of this industry in a contemporary context.

LYNDA BUCHAN
Graduate Artist in Residence (East)
Lynda's residency is place-based, with a focus on the East of the region i.e. in and around the Cullen coast. Influenced by tradition and materials, Lynda's approach starts with the notion of collating stories and will look to incorporate local narratives within the creation of a new body of work.

CAROLINE INCKLE
Artist in Residence (Research)
Caroline's residency is research-drive, with a focus on analysing the impact and success of the newly formed AIM Collective. Using the core of rhizome theory as a springboard, Caroline will use her multi-media practice to consider non-hierarchical structures in the context of our collaboration.
